By joining our forums and server you have automatically agreed to our terms written below. The rules written here apply to both forums and Survival/Creative/Classic server. We reserve the right to deny you access to our services for any and all reasons, regardless if the terms were broken or not.
We reserve the right to make any changes to the Terms of Services. While we will post announcements about any changes made, it will be your responsibility to check here for any updates to the terms listed herein. IGNORANCE OF ANY RULE IS NOT AN EXCUSE.
[size=2em]Forum Rules
These rules apply to the ProjectCityBuild forums. Each section has additional rules exclusive to it. Ensure that you read the sticky thread before posting in that section.
[size=1em]1. Spamming
Under no circumstances are you allowed to create multiple threads or posts for the sole intention of increasing post count, or saturating the forums with irrelevant threads/posts. Double posting also falls under this jurisdiction. If you were the last one to post in a thread and want to add more, modify your existing post instead of posting again.
[size=1em]2. Harassment
The discrimination of any player or staff based on race, religion, sexual orientation, gender, looks, or rank within the server will not be tolerated. Trolling also falls under this rule and will be treated as harassment. Treat everyone with respect and they will do the same for you. Be polite and understanding of other players.
[size=1em]3. PG-13 Within Reason
We exercise Freedom of Speech, but within limits and reason. Children do visit our forums, although they should be watched by a parent, we won’t enforce rules against swearing/cussing. However, excessive swearing can lead to small infractions. Racial slurs and/or downright disgusting vocabulary will receive swift punishment, as will images depicting pornography, drug use, and/or murder.
[size=1em]4. Staff Impersonation
The impersonation of any staff, regardless of their rank from Mod to Admin, is strictly prohibited. Either on forums or in the server, attempting to pose as staff and use it to your advantage for personal benefit will result in an immediate suspension of all services. Acting like a staff member and assisting others is allowed, however lying about being a staff member is not. Claiming you will ban someone or that you will get a staff member to ban someone also falls under staff impersonation.
[size=1em]5. Advertising
The advertisement of another Minecraft network/server/forum is forbidden. Posting another server with the active knowledge and/or intention of advertising it will result in a permanent ban of all PCB services. Discussing another server and/or posting Youtube showcase videos of other servers is not advertising unless you include the IP with the SOLE INTENTION of luring players away from our server.
[size=1em]6. Profiting
You may not, under any circumstances, profit off of our services provided. Donations will only ever be asked for on projectcitybuild.com. Any other website that claims to accept donations for us is a scam and should be reported to us. Individuals caught profiting or attempting to profit off of us will be permanently suspended from all PCB services.
[size=2em]ProjectCityBuild Server Rules
[size=1em]These rules apply to all servers with the ProjectCityBuild name.
[size=1em]1. Griefing
Griefing is the act of destroying another players property, intentional or not, and causing grief/sorrow/anger to that person. It will not be tolerated whatsoever here and there is no excuse for doing it. Respect others buildings and they will respect yours. We have plugins set-up for the sole purpose of finding, fixing, and banning griefers.

However, excessive swearing or cussing at players will lead to temporary or even permanent bans. Racial slurs and/or downright disgusting vocabulary will be a straight up permanent ban.
4. Ranks
Never ask for a rank, earn it. We will never promote a player who asks/begs/demands for a higher rank. The only true way to achieve a higher rank is by registering for the forums and being a good example to other members and players. Trust is earned through time, not given by force.
5. Building
[size=0.7em]For the Survival/Creative server:
Ensure that you build out of sight of the spawn area. Build away from other player buildings and ensure that you are not building on claimed land. Respect other players buildings and they will respect yours.
[size=0.7em]For the Classic server:
Avoid building on the roads, they are for travelling and not building on. Structures may hang over the road, but within reason as long as they are not directly on top of it. Do not use extensive explosives or active substances (water & lava) unless they are controlled. For Guest City, only build on an unclaimed square lot and do not build on more than 1 lot.
[size=0.7em]For both:
Offensive structures depicting anything that exceeds PG-13 are prohibited (Ex. swastikas, genitalia, etc). They will be destroyed and you will be removed from all services.
[size=2em]Survival Server Guidelines
[size=1em]1. Mods
The only mods allowed for use are aesthetic (water shaders, sounds, texture packs, etc). Malicious mods and/or hacks are prohibited from use. Flying is only available to ranks Trusted+ and above using in-game commands.
[size=1em]2. Locked Chests
We cannot and will not reimburse any chest that was not locked using the in-game plugin. To lock your chest, use the /lwc commands.
[size=1em]3. Blacklisted Items
At this point in time, the only blacklisted item is boats. Boats are horribly optimized for servers and can potentially cause lag for everyone. Infinite redstone circuits are also blacklisted, however redstone itself is not. If you create an infinite redstone circuit, turn it off when you are finished with it.
4. PVP
Attacking another player without their consent is considered harassment. If you wish to PVP, ask someone beforehand and come up with terms. If no terms are set when both players agree to PVP, then dropped items are considered free-for-all and will not be insured by the staff.
[size=2em]Creative Server Guidelines
[size=1em]1. Blacklisted Items
At this point in time, the only blacklisted item is boats. Boats are horribly optimized for servers and can potentially cause lag for everyone. Infinite redstone circuits are also blacklisted, however redstone itself is not. If you create an infinite redstone circuit, turn it off when you are finished with it.
[size=1em]2. Spawner Eggs
Spawner eggs are allowed, however spamming it for long periods of time or creating hundreds of mobs is not, whether by hand or with a redstone contraption.
[size=x-large]Classic Server Guidelines
[size=1em]1. Mods
WOM is the only accepted client for use on the server. Any other mod/hack/clients are forbidden.
[size=1em]2. Building
Do not build on the road. Buildings may overhang it within reason, but they may not obscure it or block it from sight.
